What science knows
Evening primrose oil is one of nature's richest sources of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid the skin cannot make in quantity itself. Cosmetic research links GLA-rich oils with comfort and balance for dry, stressed-feeling skin.
What tradition says
Its yellow flowers open at dusk — pollinated by moths, named for the evening. Native American communities used the whole plant; Europe adopted it as "king's cure-all." A night flower for a night elixir felt inevitable.
In your ritual
In YEMI, evening primrose is the poet: the night-blooming source of GLA that stressed skin drinks gratefully.
