AYA · DAY ELIXIR
Light and quick to absorb. Baobab seed oil — shown in a clinical study to reduce moisture loss — with moringa, prickly pear and touloucouna from Casamance. Press two to four drops into skin before SPF.
YEMI · NIGHT ELIXIR
Richer, for the night. Marula oil, whose fatty acids mirror the lipids of your own skin, with hibiscus seed, camellia and evening primrose. The deep blue is blue tansy; the scent, jasmine and clary sage.
One 30 ml bottle lasts about two months.
Ingredient index · 04 of the botanicals in our elixirs
What each ingredient is, where it grows, and what tradition and published research say about it. The leaf marks traditional use, the flask a scientific study on human skin. Tradition is welcome here, but we label it as tradition.
Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil
Across the Sahel, baobab seeds are pressed for food and to soften skin, hair and nails. In a pilot study the oil was non-irritating and reduced water loss from the skin.
Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil
Known to Greek and Roman perfumers as ben oil, prized as a stable base for precious ointments. Rich in oleic acid.
Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil
Used for generations in southern Africa, including by Zulu communities, to care for skin. A clinical study found it non-irritating and moisturising on dry skin.
Carapa Procera Seed Oil
Traditionally used as a body massage oil and to keep insects away.
Traditional use Studied on human skin
Ingredient-level data from published studies, not claims about a finished product.
Fatty acids, butters and plant actives that feed and protect skin and hair. Baobab, marula, moringa and karité each have human skin studies behind them — and we tell you which.
Resins, blossoms and woods from the regions our ingredients come from. Fragrance as a memory of place — fully declared on every label.
Formulated and safety-assessed in the EU. We separate what an ingredient is shown to do from what a finished product is tested to do — and we only claim what the evidence allows.
Hair, body and superfoods from the same plants.
What we are making next.
Warm resin and orange blossom. Vetiver, frankincense and myrrh with a breath of cardamom. And one without fragrance: pure baobab, marula and moringa.
Opening early 2027. New formulas will be available there first, made in small batches.
Try the ritual for a full month. If you are not satisfied, write to us within 30 days of delivery and we refund your purchase — simple as that. (Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal remains unaffected.)
Not in the right amount. AYA is a light oil that absorbs quickly; jojoba, its first ingredient, is a liquid wax close to the skin's own sebum. For combination or oily skin, start with two drops.
About two months of daily ritual per 30 ml — the duo works out to roughly €1.50 a day.
Both elixirs are scented with essential oils, all declared on the label. If your skin is reactive, patch-test one drop on the inner arm for 24 hours first. A fragrance-free body oil is in the workshop.
Baobab and moringa come from Senegal — our moringa is wild-harvested on small farms — and touloucouna from Casamance. Other oils, such as jojoba, macadamia and camellia, come from where they grow best. Every formula is made in small batches and safety-assessed in the EU.
